College and university instructors are entitled to one complimentary desk copy of a book
adopted for course use. Desk copy requests must be submitted in writing on departmental letterhead
and include course title, instructor’s name, course number, approximate enrollment and
semester or quarter taught.
Upon request, we e-mail review copies of books in PDF format for course adoption
consideration. We believe that our prices for books suitable for course adoption are reasonable;
therefore, we do not provide complimentary paper review copies. However, if a book is
purchased from Jewish Lights Publishing and then adopted for a course, upon request we will
refund the full purchase price.
