Current Opportunities:
Production Project Manager (Woodstock)
We are seeking a motivated Production Project Manager to help with design, typesetting and producing 35+ new books and 70+ reprints per year, working closely with our Production and Editorial teams. The candidate should have experience in InDesign and Dreamweaver.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Work in InDesign to design and typeset new book interiors using house standards
- Make corrections in book covers, book interiors and catalogs accurately and efficiently using InDesign and QuarkXPress
- Modify style sheets and master pages in InDesign
- Create eBooks from InDesign and edit in Dreamweaver
- Knowledge of html and web design standards required
Candidate must:
- have high attentiveness for accuracy and detail
- handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- have strong organizational, writing, problem solving, and communication skills
- have a positive, team-oriented attitude
- be self motivated
- have InDesign and Dreamweaver experience
- have familiarity with Mac platform
- work in the office in Woodstock
